
Snyder Distributing North, Inc. was founded on October 1st 1990 by Jeff & Ann Snyder. Below you will find the timeline of how SDN and its subsidiaries came to be.

- Jeff Snyder leaves Xerox Corp. and joins family business in December 1988.
- July 1990, as a means to prepare for retirement, Jim and Shirley Snyder (founders of Snyder Distributing Inc.), begin splitting the parent company into 3 parts.
- October 1990, Snyder Distributing North loads its first route service truck. Located at 3275 N. Old State Rd. 3 in Kendallville, Indiana, operations began with 6 vending routes, a service repair person and the two owners, Jeff and Ann Snyder.
- Snyder Dist. North’s nine sided logo represents the nine founding employees of Snyder North.
- Start up of Hometown Food Service as the commissary/kitchen for all 3 Snyder facilities begins in 1995.
- Growth occurs rapidly over the next 5 years as word of top quality service spreads.
- In May 2000, Snyder Distributing North joins the Better Vendors Association buying co-op to better enhance its purchasing power.
- Uncle Don’s Cookies begin operations in December of 2004.
- Full Cup Coffee Service begins in February 2005.
- From its original 2300 square feet, Snyder Distributing North, Inc. has grown rapidly, now encompassing 20,200 sq. ft. with business expansions occurring in 1997, 2000, 2003, 2005 & 2006.
- Snyder Distributing North currently has 44 employees that continue providing you with high quality vending services.
